Devices - Inventory View

When you have multiple devices it becomes imperative to see the list of devices, and their current status, view device-level information and perform device-level operations. Scalefusion offers a comprehensive set of features that help you to View and Manage your device inventory.

This tutorial covers the Inventory View that is offered by Scalefusion.

Viewing the Devices

  1. Login to Scalefusion Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Devices section.
  3. Here you can see all the Devices either in a ListView or a GridView. This gives you a snapshot of the device state. The iconography used here are:
    1. Locked Green Icon - Indicates that the device is currently active and the policies are applied.
    2. Locked Grey Icon - Indicates that the device is currently inactive.
    3. Unlocked Red Icon - Indicates that the device is currently Unlocked that is the policies are relaxed.
    4. Red Bin Icon - Indicates that the Scalefusion MDM Management has been removed from the device.
  4. The Devices screen offers you some quick filters. You can filter by:

    View Filter:
    • Device Type - Android | iOS
      - Selecting iOS offers further filters. You can filter them by the type of iOS device, that is, DEP | Supervised | Unsupervised.
    • Device State - Locked | Unlocked | In-Active.
    • Devices with Low Battery.
    • Devices that have been Added Recently.

    Device Groups:
    - Allows you to filter devices by the groups they are associated with.
    QR Code:

    - Allows you to filter by the QR Codes that have been used to enroll devices. EMM:

    - An Android device-specific filter.
  5. The Devices screen offers you some quick actions as well,

    - You can switch the view between a GridView or ListView.

    - You can select one or multiple devices and choose to Download a CSV report of the devices, that gives you various inventory information.

    - You can select one or multiple devices and choose to Delete them. This will completely remove Scalefusion MDM management from devices. They need to be re-enrolled in order to be managed again.
