Disable Two Step Verification

There might be some cases, where you do not want the 2-step verification to be enabled for a particular administrator or you may want to disable 2-step verification for all your accounts.

In this tutorial we will see how to Disable Two Step verification.

Who can Disable Two Step Authentication?

Only the accounts with Owners & Co-Account Owner’s have the privilege of enabling 2-step authentication.

Before you Begin

  1. Make sure you have valid MobiLock Dashboard account with owner or co-account owner privileges.

Disable 2-Step verification for all Accounts

  1. Sign In to MobiLock Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Admins and Roles.
  3. Click on Sign In Settings tab.
  4. Click on DISABLE
  5. Enter your Dashboard password and click SUBMIT.
  6. This will disable 2-F authentication for all subsequent sign-in attempts.
Disable 2-Step verification for a particular Account
  1. Sign In to MobiLock Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Admins and Roles
  3. Click on Administrators tab
  4. Click on the Gear/Settings icon next to the administrator.
  5. Here you have two options wrt 2-Step verification, select one of the options below,
    1. Disable 2F Authentication - Disables the 2-Step verification for this administrator completely until you enable it again.
    2. Disable Once 2F Authentication - Disables the 2-Step verification for this administrator for once so that user can login once. Subsequent sign-in attempts would enforce 2-Step verification.
